Just pulling out the drive and see this 'Vette go by. Realize, that's a 2014. I run the stop sign, turn right and proceed to catch up. Stop for the light at the end of the street and pull up alongside his door. He looked a little startled. I said I was just admiring his car. He smiles.
Light changes and he does some 3/4 throttle disappearing act. I catch him at the next light and tell him that thing sounds so nice. Give me another blast when the light changes. He obliges.
Hate to sound giddy, but that black with red interior really looks good. It is the first one I have seen in the wild. They are much better looking in person than in pictures. No SR20 'cause I was on my motorcycle.

Completely agree that they look better in real life. I had my first look and ride at one in the wild this past weekend as well. It's a beaut.

I haven't seen one of these yet, I don't forsee it happening anytime soon either.
But a somewhat similar story regarding the first C6 ZR-1 I saw in the wild, but with out getting to hear it stretch its legs.
I saw it while collecting high-fives on Main st. in Huntington Beach (it is really a lot of fun to get drunk and get strangers to give you high-fives. . .) when we were crossing the street to get home I saw a vette, not realizing it was a ZR-1 at the time, I get the owner to high-five me and he looks scared for his life, yet when the light turned green he barely idled away from the line. It was disappointing to say the least.

Saw one last week go op direction on the highway. They control the road with their presence, that's for damn sure.

That sounds like the start of a gay petrolhead subculture version of letters to Playboy...

Good luck if they let you sit inside of it.

Haha that picture is a Hot Wheels or Matchbox, not the real car!

Stock pic I yanked off the net. Probably didn't need a pic as we all know what they look like.

Heh?
It sounds like it ought to continue with a 'casual encounter', if you see what I mean.

No, but I'll take your word.

I don't know which bit is outside your experience - maybe you just have to know a particular friend of ours, but my wife thought of exactly the same person when I showed her.
I assume you know what I'm talking about in the hetero sense with the letters to Playboy/'casual encounters' bit?
I have a feeling the joke's not funny once I've had to explain it :)

Have not read a Playboy in years, but I do remember the letters thing.

Yup and make sure they dont see the car you drive is its older then say 5 years old.

I'll take the motorcycle. Very few can differentiate the years.

OK, now imagine how they'd go if Jalops were writing them...
So I bent her over the bonnet, and as I was about to thrust home, she peered through the hood-scoop and said 'are those individual throttle bodies?' I knew she was trying to tease me, so I expounded on their virtues until she begged me 'give me your velocity trumpet, big boy.' Talk about valve flutter!

I know, I just hate the base wheel design.

Suddenly, now I get it. Very well done, sir.

I can't take much credit. Like I said, I know a kid who really does tell stories like that. 'I met this really hot guy in a Skoda Octavia RS' and stuff. It's hilarious, but like any true Jalop he clearly rates sex and cars about equal :)
Maybe it's obvious once you think about it, but a gay teen Jalop subculture pretty much has to exist. And it's adorable . Just the sweetest, funniest thing ever. You know the kids we've got on here? Imagine two of them getting together and not being able to decide whether to talk about cars or sex...
